Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in the restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle phone inquiries regarding reservations, menu items, and general information about the restaurant.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
• Support the serving staff during peak hours as needed to enhance overall guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Experience in food service or hotel environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
