Dough Room Requirements:
- 18 years of age
Dough Room Responsibilities:
Individual:
- Hands-on food preparation.
- Prepare dough from scratch.
- Strong aptitude for following recipes.
- Package dough for delivery.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes of dough onto shelving and a 50-pound bag of flour into the mixer.
- Maintain established standards of sanitation, safety, and food preparation as set by the local and state health department; maintains an orderly, sanitary, and safe dough room.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to safely operate all dough room equipment.
- Responsible for receiving and storing food and supplies in a safe and approved manner.
- Strong math skills with the ability to calculate portion sizes and limit food waste are required.
- Obtain a complete knowledge of procedures and follow them.
Other
- Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store.
- Prepare dough items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value.
- Work in assigned stations as directed by the person in charge: 1. Batches, 2. Cut & Ball, 3. Sheeting, 4. Stacking, 5. Dough Pulls.
- Complete all assigned cleaning and prep work.
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
- Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in a standing and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Attendance at work is required.
