Duties
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and
drivers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations - Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules
- Deliver packages directly to customers’ locations with professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately
- Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments when not on route
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong background in route driving and customer service
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or
driver certification preferred; manual transmission experience is a plus - Familiarity with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles for safe driving and maneuvering in various environments
- Prior experience with heavy lifting, moving supplies or equipment, and operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is advantageous
- Excellent driving record with knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols related to commercial driving
