Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to uphold health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of food prep areas, including counters, sinks, storage spaces, and floors.
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready.
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Handle food items safely following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of basic food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or cleaning supplies.
