What are the responsibilities and job description for the PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant position at PIXIE?
We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team onsite in New Jersey. This role requires a strong blend of functional expertise and technical capability within PeopleSoft Financials. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to support, enhance, and optimize PeopleSoft FSCM modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide techno-functional support for PeopleSoft FSCM modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management (AM), and Procurement
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
- Design, develop, and customize PeopleSoft solutions using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Integration Broker)
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, patches, and production issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems
- Perform testing (unit, system, UAT) and support deployment activities
- Create and maintain documentation including design specs, test scripts, and user guides
- Provide user support and training as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in PeopleSoft FSCM as a Techno-Functional Consultant
- Strong hands-on experience with core FSCM modules (GL, AP, AR, AM, Procurement)
- Solid technical expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, and Integration Broker
- Experience with system integrations and data migration
- Strong understanding of financial business processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades (e.g., 9.2)
- Exposure to Fluid UI and PeopleSoft Cloud environments
- Prior experience working in an onsite client-facing role
