Overview
The Associate Manager, Paid Media supports the strategy, execution, and optimization of affiliate marketing programs across the North America business. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day affiliate strategy, partner relationships, campaign performance, and budget oversight while helping drive innovation and long-term channel growth. Partnering closely with Media leadership, agencies, analytics, and cross-functional teams, this position plays a key role in driving customer acquisition, traffic, and revenue through affiliate and partnership marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of affiliate marketing strategies across U.S. and Canada markets
- Drive performance against key business objectives including revenue growth, ROAS, traffic, customer acquisition, and retention
- Build and maintain relationships with affiliate partners including loyalty, influencer, coupon, content, and buy-now-pay-later partners
- Research and evaluate new affiliate technologies, platforms, and partnership opportunities
- Manage affiliate budgets, commission structures, forecasting, and performance optimization recommendations
- Develop KPI reporting and performance insights to support business decisions and stakeholder communication
- Present campaign performance, trends, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Ensure partner compensation aligns with contractual agreements and campaign performance guidelines
- Partner with agencies and internal teams to support campaign execution, optimization, and performance monitoring
- Launch, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize multiple campaigns simultaneously to maximize effectiveness
- Identify operational issues, perform QA, and implement necessary adjustments to improve campaign execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Media, Analytics, Finance, Legal, Creative, Brand, and Technology teams
- Support testing and development of new capabilities, tools, and partnership opportunities within affiliate marketing platforms
- Assist with vendor-supported media initiatives and additional paid media programs as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Approximately 2 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, or performance media
- Hands-on experience with affiliate marketing platforms such as Impact, CJ, Rakuten/Linkshare, PepperJam, Awin, or similar tools
- Experience supporting budget management, campaign optimization, and performance reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data
- Experience working with affiliate partners, influencers, or digital content creators
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop new tactics
Preferred
- Experience within retail, e-commerce, sportswear, or consumer-focused industries
- Familiarity with affiliate attribution, tracking, and partner measurement methodologies
- Interest in running, fitness, or sports culture is a plus
