Pivotal Retail Group is seeking experienced Millwork Installers to support retail construction and remodel projects throughout the Southeastern United States. This role is ideal for skilled installers who enjoy travel, hands-on work, and delivering high-quality finishes in commercial retail environments.
Position Overview
Millwork Installers are responsible for installing cabinetry, architectural millwork, fixtures, and finish components in new store builds and remodel projects. This position requires extensive travel and strong attention to detail to meet client expectations and project timelines.
This is a part-time, project-based travel position. While working on active projects, installers typically work full-time hours. Downtime may occur between assignments.
Compensation
- Starting at $22 per hour, based on experience
- Company-paid travel accommodations
- $30/day per diem while traveling
- Mileage reimbursement when applicable
Travel Requirements
- Extensive travel throughout the Southeast
- Candidates must reside in the Southeast
- Travel accommodations arranged and paid for by the company
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial millwork and retail fixtures in new and remodeled stores
- Install cabinets, shelving systems, and architectural panels
- Perform finish carpentry including molding, trim, and door installation
- Install hardware, displays, and store fixtures
- Complete wood finishing and touch-ups
- Assist with flooring elements, laminates, and graphics installation
- Read and execute project plans and installation layouts
- Maintain quality standards while meeting project deadlines
- Work collaboratively with project teams and site leadership
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in millwork, finish carpentry, or fixture installation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle (not shared)
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Required Tools & Equipment
Installers must provide personal tools including:
- Basic Hand Tools
- PPE provided by company
