What You’ll Do:
- Interpret surgical pathology, frozen sections, and cytology using electronic sign-out.
- Diagnose diseases through microscopy and prepare detailed reports
- Collaborate with physicians on testing strategies and treatment planning
- Lead and participate in quality assurance and infection control initiatives
- Stay at the forefront of pathology advancements through continued professional development
Must-Haves:
- MD or DO with Board Certification in AP/CP
- Minimum 3 years of pathology experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in lab diagnostics and regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA)
- Ability to hold unrestricted state licensure and hospital privileges
