Director of Nursing – Skilled Nursing Facility

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations in a skilled nursing setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all clinical operations within the skilled nursing facility.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations, including preparation for and response to surveys.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence.
- Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Analyze clinical performance data to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing or acute care setting.
- At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience, including staff supervision and operational oversight.
- Experience with CMS/state/federal surveys and regulatory compliance is highly preferred.
- Strong skills in clinical data analysis and quality improvement are a plus.
