THERAPIST

Licensure or licensure under supervision required (LPC, LMFT, LADC-MH, and/or LCSW) to work with high-risk youth & families. Therapeutic services to be delivered in the community, school, and office setting. Continued employment contingent upon issuance of professional license within agreed upon time.

Two to five years’ experience in individual, family and group mental health and substance abuse counseling, experience working with high-risk youth, knowledge and understanding of adolescent and family dynamics, a variety of treatment modalities and mediation techniques, including substance abuse, knowledge and working understanding of the juvenile justice system, understanding of Medicaid system and agency certifications (ODMHSAS Standards and CARF Standards).

Pivot is an approved HRSA National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site. This allows employees to qualify for their Loan Repayment programs.

Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a related field.
Licensure or licensure under supervision required (LPC, LMFT, LADC-MH, and/or LCSW) Certified BHRS & Case Manager in addition to above license
Must have and maintain a valid OK state driver’s license.

Provide individual, family, and group counseling for youth and families.
Offer the highest quality of professional counseling service in each counseling session.
Provide ethical counseling services congruent with agency policy and effective clinical practice.
Interact with youth and peers in a consistent, compassionate, positive and reasonable manner.
Monitor the progress the client is making toward his/her treatment goals.
Keep accurate and complete files on each client as outlined by agency policy and applicable Department of Mental health and Substance Abuse Services and CARF standards and criteria.
Make and facilitate appropriate and timely referrals (including inpatient and residential programs) as needed by the client to support their recovery, attain treatment goals, and to promote the client’s overall quality of life.
Meet established productivity requirements.
Supervise graduate student interns, practicum students and/or volunteers as needed.
Work flexible schedule to meet the needs of clients (some evenings required) 

Possibility of working remotely one day a week. 

Assist in maintaining a workplace environment conducive to good clinical practice.
Attend and be prepared for all relevant agency staff meetings and functions.
Provide support services to assist the agency in meeting its mission.
Represent the agency professionally in the community as needed.
Relentlessly show up and be present in young people’s lives, especially through times of relapse and crisis
Commit to engage in personal and professional growth and competence development, participate in organization training activities to increase capacity to serve youth every day
Keep supervisor fully informed at all times
Participates in team, shift change and staff meetings

Salary : $56,000 - $62,000
