JOB OVERVIEW:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our team!
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all materials in inventory and on order. You will regularly review and reconcile inventory discrepancies, promptly reporting any irregularities to the supervisor. Your work will help ensure smooth operations and efficient inventory management across the organization.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels
- Perform physical cycle count of inventory, reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
- Receive, unpack and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary; label shelves
- Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
- Database management skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to prepare routing administrative paperwork
- Ability to receive, stock and/or deliver goods
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work well with people at all levels
- Show a high degree of integrity
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires work in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to move about and to spend a significant portion of the shift standing or walking
- Requires the ability to visually inspect parts
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to visually identify small part markings with the aid of magnification
