What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Lunch/Recess Aides 2026 - 2027 School Year position at Pittsford Central School District?
The Pittsford Central School District is seeking school lunch aides to support students during lunch and recess (if applicable) for the 2026-2027 school year. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting students in the lunch line
- Supervision of students while they eat
- Supervision of students during recess (if applicable)
- Moderate table and floor cleaning
- Assisting with food packaging
The average workday will consist of 2.5 to 3 hours of work a day, late morning/early afternoon, Monday-Friday, excluding school holidays and vacations. This job offers the flexibility of work scheduling. You can work as many days out of the week as you desire and have the potential to sub in other areas of our school district when not doing lunch aide duties on the days you work.
