Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing physical duties required to monitor, patrol, and control access to PNC Park property and guard against fire, theft, trespass, and vandalism. This position is also responsible for observing and reporting all violations of Pirates and PNC Park policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Primary
- Monitor personnel entry/exit, issue visitor passes, log vendors and delivery vehicles
- Control and monitor all access to all restricted areas on Game-Days
- Conduct vehicle inspections and foot patrols of PNC Park property
- Report actual/suspected violations of Pirates and PNC Park policies, procedures, rules or regulations to Supervisor of 24-Hour Security
- Investigate incidents and, if necessary, complete an incident report on a timely basis
- Prevent unauthorized persons from loitering in area of assignment
- All other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security/Service Operations or the Supervisor or 24-Hour Security
- Wear appropriate identification and personal protective equipment and follow safety regulations, at all times, especially those related to employee safety
- Maintain radio contact at all times
Qualifications
Required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Computer literacy preferred
- Minimum of 1 year security officer experience preferred
