Under the broad guidance of the Chief Information Officer, the ACAA’s Vice President of Enterprise Applications is responsible for identifying, shaping, and delivering Enterprise strategy that provides incremental business benefits for our Enterprise portfolio of application. The incumbent will transform the Allegheny County Airport Authority into an organization that differentiates and competes. As a member of the IT senior leadership team, the VP of Enterprise Applications makes investment decisions, prioritizes projects, and negotiates vendor contract enabling the ACAA to optimize our strategic decision-making.

- Build and oversee an Enterprise Applications strategy and function to deliver accelerated growth across the business areas.
- Develop the Enterprise Application strategy and maturity roadmap planning to improve and build on our technical capabilities.
- The position is responsible for engaging with and managing stakeholders across the enterprise to gain a strong understanding of the business needs and how software and technology can enable and improve our operations to deliver high quality surgical care in resource limited environments.
- Accountable for managing the IT department’s P/L and Project Budgets.
- Ensures team is structured to effectively deliver value via high quality solutions. Continuously evaluate staff and create a Next Gen organizational strategy.
- Prioritize IT initiatives across functional work areas for effective resource planning.
- Recruit and develop high-performing teams responsible for designing, coding, and integrating various applications that includes cloud and on-prem
- The VP ensures that technical aspects align with the company’s overall strategy.
- They discover and support the implementation of new technologies that enhance business outcomes.
- Participate in strengthening the Authorities cyber security framework.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.

Preferred requirements to apply for role of Vice President, Enterprise Applications are:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, business or a closely related field. Master’s degree in computer science or business administration with a technical emphasis is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in the IT industry, demonstrating progressive technical management experience in multiple functions as well as progression in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in shaping, mentoring, and leading a team.
- Strong problem solving, oral, and written communication skills are required.
- Must possess a positive attitude, be customer focused, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license. Note: license must be maintained throughout employment.
- Experience in implementing modern cloud-based ERP & HCM solutions.
- Considerable ability to understand and appropriately apply procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to information technology.
- Evaluating an organization’s IT and software architecture and implementing IT architectures.
- Considerable ability to demonstrate strong team leadership and influence.
- Develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions towards organizational improvements.
- Having Data and Predictive Analytics experience is a plus.
- Considerable ability to analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
- Build strong partnerships across the Data & Analytics and Cyber & Infrastructure teams units to iteratively improve capabilities and develop a modern enterprise architecture to support the smart airport mission.
- Ability to use and effectively evaluate various operating systems and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize.
- Maintain proficiency in standard office productivity, fiscal and project management processes, procedures and applications.
- Travel up to 5%.
