We are a physician-owned gastroenterology group with a strong market position seeking a highly capable Practice Administrator to lead operations, strategy and growth across our clinical practice and ambulatory surgery center. This is a senior leadership role with direct accountability for operational performance, financial results and organizational development.
The Administrator/COO will partner closely with physician leadership to drive efficiency, expand ancillary services and position the organization for long-term success in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. This candidate will have significant autonomy and ability to drive strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daytoday operations across multiple clinic locations and at our endoscopy center
- Optimize workflow, staffing models, and patient throughput
- Implement best practices, especially in scheduling, revenue cycle, and clinical operations
- Work with the existing finance team to manage budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance
- Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and enhance revenue streams
- Oversee revenue cycle performance including billing collections and payer contracting
- Lead expansion initiatives including operations and service line growth
- Oversee ancillary services such as the ambulatory surgery center, infusion and pathology programs.
- Identify opportunities and market positioning strategies
- Serve as a trusted partner to physician owners and board leadership
- Align operational strategy with physician goals and culture
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new providers
- Build lead and mentor a high performing administrative team
- Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement
- Oversee HR functions including hiring performance management and retention
- Ensure compliance with regulatory legal and accreditation requirements
- Maintain high standards of patient care safety and satisfaction
- Minimum 7 to 10 years plus of health care leadership experience preferably in physician group practice or ASC environment
- MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree required
- Proven experience managing practice operations and/or ambulatory surgery centers
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability
- Demonstrated success and growth initiatives and operational improvements
- Experience working closely with physician partners or ownership groups
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
- Experience in gastroenterology or procedural specialties
