Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team as a 4th/5th Grade Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that encourages upper elementary students to reach their full academic and social potential. You will design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards, monitor student progress, and maintain strong communication with families.

Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Excellence: Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans in core subjects, including Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
• Differentiated Learning: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students, providing individualized support and intervention where necessary.
• Classroom Management: Establish clear objectives and enforce standards of behavior to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning atmosphere.
• Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student academic and social growth through various assessments, providing timely feedback and preparing detailed progress reports.
• Family Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians via newsletters, phone calls, and conferences to discuss student progress and collaborative goals.
• Professional Collaboration: Participate in faculty meetings, grade-level team planning, and school-wide events to contribute to a cohesive educational experience.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field; a Master's degree is often preferred.
• Certification: Valid state teaching credential or license for elementary grades.
• Skills: Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in integrating educational technology (e.g., Google Classroom).
