Instructional Excellence
- Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that build strong foundations in reading, writing, and math.
- Use hands-on activities, play-based learning, and Higher Order Thinking strategies to deepen student understanding.
- Prioritize explicit vocabulary instruction and language development across all content areas.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and cultural needs of young learners.
Student Growth
- Use a variety of formative and early literacy assessments to monitor progress and guide instruction.
- Provide targeted small-group instruction to support skill development and close learning gaps.
- Participate in data team meetings and PLCs to reflect on student progress and strengthen instructional practices.
Leadership Development
- Model and teach responsible, respectful, and safe behaviors in a nurturing classroom environment.
- Foster independence, confidence, and positive social skills in young students.
- Encourage students to take on age-appropriate leadership roles within the classroom and school community.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with grade-level teammates, instructional coaches, and administrators to support student success.
