Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and skilled PM Line Cook to join our dinner service team. The PM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items to a consistently high standard while maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient station.The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, solid culinary fundamentals, and takes pride in delivering excellent food and hospitality in a fast-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities
● Prepare and execute dinner menu items according to recipes and chef standards.
● Set up, stock, and maintain an organized station before, during, and after service.
● Execute dishes with consistency, accuracy, proper timing, and attention to presentation. ● Complete daily prep for assigned station and communicate prep needs to the chef
● Maintain proper portioning, seasoning, cooking temperatures, and plating standards.
● Work closely with the chef and other line cooks to coordinate ticket timing and service flow.
● Communicate clearly and professionally during service.
● Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
● Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures.
● Assist with receiving, storage, inventory, and kitchen organization as needed.
● Minimize waste through proper prep, storage, and product utilization
. ● Assist other stations when needed and contribute to an efficient team environment.
● Complete closing duties, including station breakdown, cleaning, and restocking for the following service
. ● Follow all restaurant and health department food-safety standards. Qualifications
● Previous professional kitchen experience required.
● Experience working in a quality-driven restaurant is a plus.
● Strong knife skills and fundamental cooking techniques.
● Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure during busy service.
● Strong attention to detail and consistency.
● Ability to follow recipes and chef direction while demonstrating good culinary judgment. ● Reliable, punctual, and dependable
. ● Strong communication and teamwork skills.
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
. ● Food-safety certification preferred but not required.
Pay: $25.26 - $30.42 per hour
