Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist in food handling, preparation, and basic kitchen duties as needed
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in cashiering, food handling, or retail math is beneficial
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety procedures, and proper serving techniques is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Experience working in a café, restaurant, grocery store, or food industry environment is desirable
