Your expertise in reading blueprints and applying precise fitting techniques will be essential for the successful execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Fit and assemble structural components, ensuring accurate alignment and positioning for welding.
- Use various hand tools and equipment, such as grinders, cutting torches, and measuring instruments to achieve optimal fitting results.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other fabrication team members to meet project deadlines and maintain production schedules.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Structural Fitter in a fabrication or construction environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools, welding machines, and measuring equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to fabrication and welding.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and follow directions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
