The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator ensures all incoming and outgoing materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. This role supports production by coordinating shipments, receiving materials, managing documentation, and maintaining smooth logistics flow throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, and coordinate inbound & outbound shipments.
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials; match to purchase orders.
- Create shipping documents including BOLs, packing lists, and labels.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Ensure proper packaging, staging, and loading of all outgoing materials.
- Maintain organization and safety within the shipping & receiving area.
- Conduct crate construction, including fabrication of custom crates for specialty products.
- Perform saw cutting as required for material preparation and packing.
- Handle traffic logistics, including truck scheduling, routing, and yard coordination.
Who You Are
- 2 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and communication skills.
- Able to read basic drawings and follow detailed shipping requirements.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
