What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at Piping Rock?
We are looking to grow our team to welcome a Tax Manager.
The Tax Manager will lead all aspects of domestic and international tax compliance and planning.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze federal, state, and international tax returns
• Draft corporate tax provision
• Review domestic sales tax and international VAT/GST returns prepared by third parties
• Prepare quarterly tax estimates
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors during annual filings and audits
• Research corporate, state and international tax matters
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact on business operations
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for new markets and acquisitions
• Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize the company’s effective tax rate and cash flow
• Develop and maintain tax policies, procedures and internal controls
• Additional Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• CPA or Masters with specialization in taxation
• 6 years of experience
• Corporate tax and tax provision experience
• Work effectively in a team environment and independently
