Kforce has a client in Hauppauge, NY that is seeking a Tax Manager/Tax Senior. Summary: Due to rapid growth, Kforce's client, a Long Island based CPA firm which specializes in High Net Worth and family office clients, is seeking a Tax Manager and a Tax Senior. The firm offers a very generous compensation plan, along with flexible work arrangements and rapid advancement potential (towards partnership). Key Tasks:
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

- Responsibilities include preparation and/or review of individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate returns and projections for accuracy as well as providing insight into tax saving measures
- Manage, train and mentor staff
- Consultation with clients on various business matters
- CPA, EA and Master's degree are pluses
- 3-10 years of recent public tax experience with HNW individuals and mid-sized businesses
- Proficient with a multitude of accounting software, Word, and Excel; CCH a plus
