Ecommerce Merchandiser

In your role as the E-Commerce Merchandiser, you will be responsible for optimizing Piping Rocks digital performance by strategically managing product categories and implementing merchandising strategies across our ten shopify websites. We are seeking an individual with a knowledge of or a passion for the health and wellness category. This position will focus on continuous improvement of the customer experience while driving continued sales growth and digital enhancements. Responsibilities: •    Assist in new item setup process including working with other team members to gather product information, copy, images and supplement information.•    Curate and organize product assortments on the websites, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly online shopping experience.•    Regularly monitor and update product data on the website, including categories, images, product descriptions, collections and links.•    Ensure product descriptions, images and product attributions are categorized appropriately across all channels.•    Use data analytics, customer insights and sales data to make informed decisions about product placement and online merchandising efforts.•    Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to coordinate product launches and website updates.•    Develop creative methods to increase sales and improve customer experience.•    Additional duties as assigned Qualifications:•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required•    A minimum of 3 years of eCommerce or merchandising experience required.•    A self-starter who is motivated and able to work independently.•    Strong merchandising skills with a good eye for detail and product presentation.•    Experience with product tagging, categorization, and content management systems.•    A very detailed and curious mindset that is always searching for methods to compete in an ever-changing marketplace.•    A knowledge of the health and wellness environment including; Sports Nutrition, HBA, Vitamins and Healthy Foods.•    Ability to communicate and collaborate in a cross-functional environment with technology, marketing and product development teams.•    Must have very strong Excel skills and understanding of the digital technology environment.•    Proficiency in Shopify or similar platforms.•    Strong verbal and written skills.   We proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!
