What You'll Do
✅ Partner with veterinarians to identify disease challenges through sample collection and on-farm assessments
✅ Build strong relationships with pig farmers and become a trusted advisor for their operations
✅ Develop and promote proactive herd health programs
✅ Lead producer education initiatives, including: • PQA Certification • Site Assessments • Secure Pork Plans • Additional producer training programs
What We're Looking For
✔ Bachelor's degree or 2 years of livestock industry experience
✔ Required: Previous swine industry experience
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Work Environment
- Agricultural swine facilities in rural communities
- Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Some overnight travel required
- Hearing protection needed in certain areas
Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
- Ability to occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds
Additional Requirements
✅ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
✅ Willingness to travel as needed
