Our client is looking for an Senior RNG Engineer to lead engineering efforts across a growing portfolio of RNG production facilities.
This role partners closely with internal Operations and Construction teams, as well as third-party engineering firms, to support new facility development and drive performance, reliability, and efficiency improvements at operating sites.
This is an opportunity to join a team scaling its national RNG platform and contributing directly to the advancement of clean energy infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead engineering support for new RNG facility development in collaboration with external engineering firms, technology providers, and equipment vendors.
- Partner with Operations and Plant teams to improve safety, efficiency, and production performance at existing RNG facilities.
- Support short- and long-term planning, budgeting, and coordination across the RNG asset portfolio.
- Assist with the evaluation and execution of new RNG project opportunities.
- Manage engineering contractors and consultants, working closely with Construction and Operations leadership to deliver projects from concept through completion.
- Coordinate with strategic partners and third-party service providers.
- Prepare reports and support special projects for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to support data collection and timely regulatory reporting.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering focus
- 10 years of professional Engineering experience
- Must have a Professional Engineering license
- Be willing to periodically travel to HQ in the New York City area
