Our client is a growing, employee-owned engineering & construction firm providing environmental, energy, and infrastructure solutions. They’re seeking a Preconstruction Director to lead front-end planning, estimating, and strategic development for large-scale projects, guiding pursuits from conceptual budgets through subcontract award and contract execution.
What You'll Need:
- 12 years in estimating and preconstruction, including 5 years in leadership
- Proven experience delivering GMP proposals and leading design-build pursuits for projects $20M–$200M
- Strong knowledge of cost modeling, risk analysis, value engineering, and subcontractor bid management
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering preferred
- Client-facing experience and ability to translate technical/regulatory requirements into clear cost and schedule impacts
- Strong leadership and collaborative mindset to guide multidisciplinary preconstruction teams
