Responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager include:
- Leading product development projects from initiation through launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and customer requirements.
- Serving as the primary point of communication for project status, schedules, risks, action items, and resource requirements.
- Facilitating project meetings, tracking deliverables, and driving accountability to maintain schedule and milestone commitments.
- Managing project budgets, capital expenditures, product costing activities, and scope changes while ensuring adherence to financial objectives.
- Providing technical leadership throughout the product development lifecycle, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), manufacturing readiness, and production planning activities.
- Overseeing supplier performance, capacity planning, and operational readiness to ensure products can be manufactured and delivered successfully.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 4 years of project management or product development experience within connectors, electronics, telecommunications, datacenter, networking, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects involving new product introduction, manufacturing, and supplier management.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, engineering documentation, and manufacturing procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related business applications.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, suppliers, customers, and executive stakeholders across global organizations.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
- Able to travel up to 50%-60% to sites and over to the offshore manufacturing warehouses.
- Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000
