Responsibilities for the Senior Data Quality Lead include:
- Design and implement an enterprise data quality framework across Microsoft Fabric Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
- Define data quality taxonomies, validation rules, acceptance thresholds, and certification criteria
- Build automated source‑to‑target reconciliations, regression testing suites, and data profiling controls using SQL and Fabric-native capabilities
- Establish exception management workflows, including remediation tracking, root‑cause analysis, and stakeholder reporting
- Develop production‑readiness and data certification signoff procedures to support audit and regulatory requirements
- Integrate data quality metadata, lineage, and controls into Microsoft Purview governance tooling
- Produce audit evidence packs and executive reporting that demonstrate data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency
- 8 years of experience in data quality, data governance, or data engineering within regulated financial environments
- Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, OneLake)
- Strong SQL skills for reconciliation, validation, and data profiling
- Experience implementing data observability and testing frameworks (Great Expectations, Soda, Deequ, Monte Carlo, or similar)
- Proven knowledge of financial systems, such as loan servicing, accounting, or portfolio management platforms
- Experience integrating governance, lineage, and quality controls with Microsoft Purview
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data risk into business and audit‑ready outcomes
