QA Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a QA Engineer for a leading technology organization. The QA Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring software quality across applications. The QA Engineer role is a hybrid position with three days onsite in Morrisville, NC.

Responsibilities of the QA Engineer:

• Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress
• Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks and testing strategies
• Partner with development and product teams to define testing requirements and uphold quality standards
• Conduct functionality, regression, and integration testing across multiple applications
• Detect, document, and manage defects through resolution
  
  

Requirements of the QA Engineer:

• 3 years of experience in QA engineering with a strong emphasis on test automation
• Hands-on expertise with Cypress and modern automation testing frameworks
• Proficient in scripting for test development, with a preference for JavaScript
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
• Availability and willingness to commit to a 9-month contract
• Demonstrated ability to design and develop automated test scripts
  
  

Compensation for the QA Engineer:

• $45-$52/hr depending on experience
