Responsibilities of the Jr. DevOps Engineer Include:
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and deployment processes.
- Assist in managing containerized applications and virtualized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and virtual machine technologies.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes utilizing GitHub, Jenkins, and other automation tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based and cloud-hosted systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile environments to support application development, testing, deployment, and operational activities.
- Contribute to system reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives through automation and operational best practices.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, DevOps, or a related field, or recent graduates with relevant internship experience, hands-on projects, and an active GitHub portfolio.
- Proficiency in Python development with a strong understanding of automation, scripting, and software development best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform gained through professional experience, coursework, certifications, internships, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, CI/CD methodologies, containerization technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation concepts.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science required; candidates with degrees in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related technical disciplines may be considered based on relevant experience and qualifications.
- $65,000-$80,000
