Piper Companies is seeking an IT/OT Network Support Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization for a 12-month contract, fully onsite position based out of Clayton, NC. The IT/OT Network Support Specialist will support a large-scale greenfield facility by assisting with building management and facility monitoring systems, resolving network connectivity issues, and partnering with global and local technology teams to ensure successful system implementation and operational performance.

Responsibilities of the IT/OT Network Support Specialist include:
- Partner with automation, facilities, and IT teams to support the deployment and integration of building and facility management platforms across a large manufacturing campus.
- Diagnose and resolve network, server, communication, and connectivity issues impacting operational technology (OT) and IT environments.
- Perform field-based troubleshooting within IDF rooms, network racks, and connected infrastructure to identify and correct system interruptions.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders and local support teams to address project punch-list items, IP addressing concerns, and network configuration challenges.
- Provide routine project updates, issue tracking, and status reporting while supporting a successful system launch and ongoing operations.
- 2 years of IT infrastructure, network support, help desk, field services, or related technical experience; 4-6 years preferred.
- Experience working with IDF rooms, network racks, switch ports, structured cabling, and troubleshooting physical network connectivity issues.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles, network communications, and enterprise connectivity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with building automation, facility management, or industrial control systems such as Siemens Desigo, Schneider Electric solutions, or comparable platforms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business, IT, OT, and globally distributed project teams.
