The Data Warehousing Specialist, SME will serve as a subject matter expert supporting enterprise data architecture, integration, reporting, and analysis efforts, while helping stakeholders turn complex data into actionable insights. This role directly supports mission-critical decision-making by ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and compliance in a fast-paced federal environment.
Responsibilities for the Data Warehousing Specialist include:
- Design, implement, and support data warehousing solutions, including data migration and integration from multiple source systems into centralized repositories.
- Perform advanced data analysis and develop ad hoc and recurring reports using SQL and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Support financial and operational reporting, including accounts receivable tracking, aging analysis, reconciliations, and compliance-driven reporting.
- Document and refine business processes by developing SOPs, desk procedures, design documents, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve data discrepancies, and deliver high-quality, scalable business solutions under tight deadlines.
- 5 years of experience in data architecture, data management, data analysis, systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL (ANSI SQL), data integration/migration, master data management, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong skills in data analysis, process improvement, stakeholder communication, documentation, and problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Active security clearance with IMC eligibility required.
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
