Piper Companies is seeking a CQV STW Maintenance Technician to join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization for a 12-month, fully onsite contract position located in Holly Springs, NC. The CQV STW Maintenance Technician will play a key role in bringing critical systems online and preparing them for commissioning and qualification within a large-scale production environment.
Responsibilities for the CQV STW Maintenance Technician:
Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000/year (USD)

Responsibilities for the CQV STW Maintenance Technician:
- Execute startup and turnover activities to safely bring utility and process systems online following mechanical completion
- Perform system walkdowns using P&IDs, supporting energization, loop checks, and pre-commissioning activities
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues such as leaks, valve malfunctions, and equipment deficiencies
- Partner with engineers and cross-functional teams to coordinate system readiness and support calibration efforts
- Document activities, manage punch list items, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on industrial or mechanical experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform system walkdowns independently
- Experience working with energized systems, tools, and basic mechanical repairs
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices; OSHA or similar certifications are a plus
- Comfortable performing physical work and operating equipment such as scissor lifts (training provided if needed)
