Position Overview
The Digital Marketing & Events Manager leads strategy and execution of client events and digital campaigns. This role combines digital content leadership, event management and project management responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities
Event Coordination
- Lead the full scope of event planning, design and execution of client events, from early concept and run-of-show development to digital promotion, logistics, vendor management, and on-site execution, ensuring events meet defined goals.
- Manage event operations including venue selection, budgeting, vendor contracts, speaker outreach and coordination, A/V needs, run-of-show, printed and digital collateral, and attendee engagement.
- Negotiate and manage vendor, venue, and sponsor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effective outcomes.
- Lead onsite execution, ensuring a seamless, high-quality attendee experience and problem-solving in real time.
- Oversee cross-functional staff and project teams supporting event activities, allocating as well as executing tasks, setting clear goals and milestones, and driving successful execution.
Digital Content & Strategy
- Lead digital content strategy for assigned clients, ensuring brand voice consistency across digital and social platforms.
- Manage and produce digital marketing content (social copy, graphics, video, email campaigns) and maintain aligned editorial calendars.
- Identify opportunities to build audience pipelines and improve digital performance using analytics, platform insights, segmentation, and targeted content strategies.
- Provide direction and feedback to staff and contractors creating content, graphics, and digital deliverables.
Project Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; manage expectations, timelines, deliverables, and strategic recommendations that support client goals.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that track deadlines, metrics, and milestones, ensuring proactive communication and measurable results.
- Translate client objectives into actionable communication strategies and coordinated event and/or digital campaigns.
