What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Account Specialist position at PIP Global Safety?
The National Account Specialist will be responsible for growth in revenue and maintaining support for the assigned customer and territorial areas of coverage. This will require a strong need to be organized and the ability to focus on the areas of responsibility. This position requires a highly professional individual with the ability to present to all levels of our customer’s organization.
- Grow revenue and profitability for your customer base, exceeding company’s budget expectations
- Acquire new key customers in all channels of trade
- Critical and Creative thinker, looking for the necessary angles to drive sales and market growth
- Create and deliver effective and impactful sales presentations to key industrial customers in the Industrial Distribution Channel
- Daily direct and indirect contact with our customers
- Provide exceptional customer service to our key customers
- Develop new and manage existing end user channels
- Effectively communicate with customers and internal team members
- Build strong business relationships at all levels of account’s management
- Build an extensive knowledge base in each product category
- Actively participate in the company’s sales and operations planning processes
- Assist with the development of national sales and marketing platform, strategic account management, and overall sales strategy at the direction of the National Account Manager
- Use of the company’s CRM software as required to manage aspects of key account’s relationships including activities, opportunities, contacts, and forecasting
- Development of clear, concise communications using Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams and other Business Intelligence tools provided
