JOB SUMMARY
PIP is growing and seeking a Front-End Web Developer to join our IT team in Latham, NY. Reporting to the Director of IT, Digital Platforms, you'll help build and optimize industry-leading websites and applications that support our global business. You'll collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to design engaging, high-performance digital experiences that showcase our brand. We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented developer who's passionate about clean design, modern UI/UX, and delivering seamless user interactions in a fast-paced environment.
THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION IN LATHAM, NY.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interacting with dynamic data from multiple sources (PIM / ERP)
- Create responsive website applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass, Laravel, Bootstrap, jQuery, Vue JS
- Organize complex data sets and develop unique, user-friendly experiences
- Testing and debugging
- Maintain and develop existing company websites in Big Commerce and Shopify
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- 1-4 years of experience in Front End Development
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or similar field preferred
- Advanced skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass
- Experience with version control software (GitHub)
- Hand code PHP to develop custom web applications
- Adobe Creative Suite experience
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to problem solve complex issues quickly and efficiently
- Proven ability to work with a high-paced, dynamic team
