Community Outreach Manager
Summary of Responsibilities:
PV Financial Group is seeking a local, community-minded, and driven individual to join our growing financial planning firm.
The Community Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage the local community. This individual’s goal is to promote PV’s mission and brand through various communication channels and events to contribute to the organizations long-term success. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the organization’s visibility and engagement within the community.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, and nonprofits, identifying key stakeholders and cultivating relationships with them.
• Create comprehensive outreach plans aligned with organizational goals as guided by leadership team.
• Coordinate marketing activities to maximize community engagement and brand awareness.
• Organize and participate in community events while coordinating and maximizing staff presence.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate outreach efforts into overall organizational strategy; keep advisors and staff on task with marketing activities.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and individual employee community engagement.
• Provide oversight of all the firm’s marketing content, events and marketing initiatives.
• Update and monitor marketing calendar.
• Attend and facilitate weekly marketing strategy meetings.
• Increase client engagement through various marketing strategies.
• Provide expense reports and budget reports for marketing events and initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
• Handle digital media including website updates, social media posts and client-facing newsletters and communications, as needed.
• This role will require evening and weekend work to attend and facilitate events.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
• Experience in community outreach, public relations or similar role.
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload and operate under tight deadlines; Sophisticated organizational and time management skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently, think conceptually, and attend to details.
• An amazing attitude and extraordinary customer service skills.
• Enjoy interacting with people face-to-face and over the phone.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with CRM software and analytics tools.s a plus.
