We offer a pay range of $20 to $27 per hour, and plenty of chances to learn and grow. We also offer great benefits, including spiffs and a company-matched IRA. Your typical work hours at Pioneer Valley Environmental are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We believe in work-life balance!
YOUR DAY
Get ready for a day full of numbers and camaraderie! As our Finance Maestro, your mission begins by ensuring our payroll process is as precise as a Swiss watch. You'll be the guardian of benefit plans, making sure our team gets the perks they deserve. Accuracy is your middle name when it comes to payroll documents and account reconciliations. You'll be the captain of compliance, making sure everything is filed on time. Expect to be a payroll document pro, always up-to-date with employee appointments, transfers, and more. Alongside these tasks, you'll be the HR support superstar, working on onboarding, employee benefits, and a few other HR goodies. A dash of fun and a sprinkle of order will be your secret ingredients in maintaining our employee data systems. By the end of the day, you'll have left your numerical mark on our success.
In order to do this, you need:
- Proficiency in bookkeeping
- A willingness to learn and grow in the HR field, even if you don't have prior HR experience
- Ability to adapt to new software and processes
Preferred: Experience with QuickBooks.
