Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
- Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and vibrant gardens
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, and landscape shaping
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning trees and shrubs, aerating soil, and applying mulch or soil amendments
- Help with snow plowing and removal during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible
- Maintain equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery in good working order through routine inspections
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
- Experience in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards outdoor physical work
- Prior experience in construction or tree care is beneficial but not necessary; we value motivated individuals eager to grow their skills

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
