Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly, efficient manner, providing in-person customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and other culinary tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment by following strict cleaning routines and sanitizing procedures aligned with food safety standards.
- Assist with food safety management by adhering to sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and dietary guidelines when necessary.
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations, assisting with food presentation, and ensuring timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety sanitizing procedures, and proper manual handling practices.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing weights during food handling.
- Previous catering or banquet experience is beneficial; familiarity with dietary accommodations enhances your suitability for the role.
