Position Overview:
Pioneer Coach is currently searching for candidates with excellent carpentry skills to join our team. This role specializes in custom interior work for luxury coach conversions and is ideal for individuals passionate about precision and craftsmanship. You’ll play a crucial role in crafting custom cabinetry and fine finishes within our coaches, using advanced tools and techniques to ensure high-quality results. Key Attributes and Skills:
- Attention to Detail & Critical Thinking: Keen eye for detail and ability to resolve carpentry issues efficiently.
- Measurement & Drawing Interpretation: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and taking accurate measurements.
- Experience with Tools: Skilled in using table saws, drills, routers, and similar tools.
- Laminate Work: Experience with laminating materials is a strong plus.
- Self-Starter with Positive Attitude: Motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.
- CNC Experience: A plus, though not required.
Shift: 6:30am - 4:00pm M - TH, 3pm on Friday (4hrs OT)
Pay: $19 - $26 per hour, with overtime and bonus opportunities available
Work Environment:
- Basic tooling is required, larger tools will be provided by the company
- Primarily hands-on, with in-vehicle work that may require standing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Candidate will start on days and then transition into 2nd shift after onboarding and training is complete
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience: Prior carpentry experience preferred; however, we are open to training candidates with the right skill set and attitude.
- Screening: Successful completion of background and substance screening
