Position Overview:
Pioneer Coach is currently searching for candidates with excellent carpentry skills to join our team, experience with laminates is a must. This role specializes in custom interior work for luxury coach conversions and is ideal for individuals passionate about precision and craftsmanship. You’ll play a crucial role in crafting custom cabinetry and fine finishes within our coaches, using advanced tools and techniques to ensure high-quality results. Key Attributes and Skills:
- Attention to Detail & Critical Thinking: Keen eye for detail and ability to resolve carpentry issues efficiently.
- Measurement & Drawing Interpretation: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and taking accurate measurements.
- Experience with Tools: Skilled in using table saws, drills, routers, and similar tools.
- Laminate Work: Experience with laminating materials is a strong plus.
- Self-Starter with Positive Attitude: Motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.
- CNC Experience: A plus, though not required.
Shift: 6:30am - 4:00pm M - TH, 3pm on Friday
Pay: $19 - $26 per hour, with overtime and bonus opportunities available
Work Environment:
- Basic tooling is required, larger tools will be provided by the company
- Primarily hands-on, with in-vehicle work that may require standing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience: Prior carpentry experience preferred; however, we are open to training candidates with the right skill set and attitude.
- Screening: Successful completion of background and substance screening
