REQUIRED: Valid NYS teaching certificate in Students with Disabilities: Birth-2
QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED:
- Experience working with special education students in grades K-2.
- Desire to work within a self-contained classroom model.
- Desire and ability to work collaboratively with direct and indirect academic teams, including Teacher Assistants, aides, related services providers, counselors and school psychologists.
- Knowledge and evidence of Individualized Education Programming and subsequent document development.
- Evidence of strong classroom management with an emphasis on student engagement .
- Commitment to ongoing team development, curriculum, instructional techology and professional development.
