Senior Financial Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid – Local candidates only)
Pay Rate: $35/hr

Position Summary
Responsible for performing advanced financial analysis using deep knowledge of finance principles and practices. This role manages budgeting, long-term financial planning, cost of service, pricing, and other finance-related functions.
The position involves solving complex financial problems, generating insights, and supporting strategic decision-making for leadership, including executives and board-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial deliverables:
- Operating & capital budgets
- Long-term financial plans
- Cost of service studies
- Pricing models
- Treasury & cash operations
- Perform:
- Expense, revenue, and budget analysis
- Forecasting and financial projections
- Variance analysis and reporting
- Build and maintain:
- Spreadsheet models
- Databases and data mining tools
- Conduct:
- Feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis
- Benchmarking and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure:
- Compliance with internal controls
- Adherence to policies, laws, and regulations (FERC, NARUC)
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Prepare reports and presentations for:
- Senior Leadership Team
- Board of Directors
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) and mentor junior staff
