What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planner position at Pinnacle Staffing Group?
The primary responsibility of a Financial Planner is to deliver high‑quality, comprehensive financial planning to existing clients while partnering closely with Lead Advisors to ensure a consistent and exceptional client experience. This position is primarily focused on planning and client service delivery rather than new business development. The Financial Planner will spend the majority of their time deepening client relationships, preparing and presenting financial plans, and supporting long‑term client strategy.
Primary Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning and advice across investments, retirement, tax, insurance, and estate considerations
- Serve as a primary planning partner to assigned clients in collaboration with a Lead Advisor
- Prepare, present, and update financial plans based on client goals, life events, and market conditions
- Participate in and lead client meetings as appropriate, ensuring clear communication and follow‑through
- Collaborate with Lead Advisors and Client Service teams to ensure timely execution of client requests
- Proactively identify planning opportunities within existing client relationships
- Support client onboarding and client transitions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and planning records in firm systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and client experience standards
Qualifications
- CFP® designation required
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning, advisory services, or a related role
- Strong technical planning skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to operate as a peer partner within an advisory team
- High attention to detail and strong follow‑through
- Military‑equivalent job experience accepted
Compensation
- Estimated Total Cash Compensation (Phoenix Metro): $80,000 – $110,000, comprised of a $70,000 – $80,000 base salary, equity eligibility, with the opportunity for additional performance‑based bonuses.
