We are seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Professional to join our client's growing team located in Scottsdale AZ. This company is one of the largest retailers and marketers in the country!
In this position, you will maintain accurate accounting records as well as assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. You will help coordinate other business needs such as filing and keeping up on local and federal compliance issues. Bookkeeping duties include posting customer payments and processing payroll weekly, general ledger maintenance and reconciliations, entering journal entries, and monitoring Chart of Accounts and Financials. Accounting software and ERP experience required. Strong understanding of GAAP and core knowledge of financial statements is paramount. This is a full-time, in-person position. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Pay Range: $20.00 -22.00/hr. DOE

Bookkeeping Duties and Responsibilities
- Cash sheet reconciliation
- AM/PM Cash and Settlement Reporting
- Processing customer payments and refunds via check or wire
- Payroll Processing
- Managing and posting general ledger activities (including bank and payroll entries)
- Accounts reconciliations in Odoo
- Assist with payables when necessary (credit cards and other vendor accounts)
- Files maintenance including digital and physical files
- Assisting with W-9, 1099, and Exemption Certificates
- Abide by and enforce facility rules and all laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirement and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years’ experience required; degree or certification in accounting or related field preferred
- Experience with computerized bookkeeping (Odoo, QuickBooks, Sage, Netsuite, etc.), intermediate knowledge of tax accounting preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Ability to maintain discretion and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Suite (Excel is a MUST) and ERP systems
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- This is an in-office position
- All candidates must pass drug screening and background check
