Application Development Engineer– Plastics (Automotive / Injection Molding)

Pinnacle Search is working with a global materials company looking to hire an Application Development Engineer to support growth in automotive.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You will work directly with OEMs and suppliers to solve real-world processing and product challenges.
What you will do
- Support new product launches and ongoing production programs
- Work with customers on injection molding, processing, and material performance
- Troubleshoot quality and application issues in the field
- Partner with sales to win new business
- Provide technical guidance on tooling, design, and material selection
What you bring
- Background in polymers, plastics, or chemical engineering
- Experience with injection molding and processing
- Ability to work directly with customers onsite
- Automotive experience is strongly preferred
- 5 years in a technical or application-focused role
