Our client, a growing organization, is seeking a Project Manager to support affordable housing development projects throughout the development and construction lifecycle. This role will work closely with internal development teams, consultants, contractors, city agencies, and project stakeholders to help drive projects from planning through completion.
Position Summary
The Project Manager will support affordable housing developments by coordinating project activities, monitoring schedules and budgets, managing consultants and stakeholders, and ensuring projects remain on track throughout the development process. This role is ideal for someone with experience in real estate development, affordable housing, construction management, or urban development who enjoys managing multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate affordable housing development projects through various stages of development and construction.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Work with consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and public agencies.
- Monitor project timelines and identify potential risks or delays.
- Support entitlement, permitting, and development activities.
- Assist with development budgets and project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate communication among stakeholders.
- Support compliance requirements and project reporting.
- Collaborate with development, finance, construction, and leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of project management, development, construction, or affordable housing experience.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in affordable housing development.
- Experience working with public agencies and municipal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of development, entitlement, permitting, or construction processes.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
