Essential Job Responsibilities
- Learn day-to-day propane plant operations, including inventory control, distribution, routing, and maintenance
- Shadow Operations Managers to understand how to lead teams, drive performance, and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Assist in coordinating deliveries, dispatch schedules, and customer service operations
- Support compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
- Participate in data analysis and reporting to identify operational efficiencies
- Contribute to facility audits, inspections, and improvement projects
- Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
- Train in managing field personnel, including hiring, onboarding, and scheduling
- Gradually take on supervisory responsibilities as confidence and experience grow
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Willingness to travel to different sites and relocate for advancement opportunities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with logistics or ERP systems is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
